Offering Salat Al-Gha’ib and Qunut for Disaster Victims
Scholars of Islam, As-Salamu `alaykum. As you know,Indonesia has been recently hit with a devastating earthquake, which resulted in many thousands of dead and wounded persons. Should we Muslims pray salat al-gha’ib (Funeral Prayer in absentia) for the dead and say qunut (supplication in salah) seeking Allah’s help and relief for the victims?
