Safa and Marwah

While making Tawaf Al-Ifadah, if a person only makes Tawaf and because of being confused or making a mistake forget to perform Sa`i, and later after five or six days he performs Sa`i: is this acceptable or is there any action to be taken to rectify the mistake?

Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. How should a pilgrim perform Sa`i and what should be said during it? Is sleeping in Muzdalifah required? A lot of brothers told me I should perform Maghrib and `Isha' Prayers and then leave by midnight because that gives me enough time to throw the jamarat (pebbles) and do Tawaf Al-Ifadah quickly and without trouble; is this true? Is it permissible to do a voluntary Sa`i rather than the Sa`i performed during Hajj and `Umrah?
