How to Rectify Forgetfulness in Sujud al-Sahw?
Asalamu-Alaiykum Warahmatulahi wa barkatuhuDear Brother/SisterI have three questions that I was hoping you could give me some clarity on; may Allah guide you so that you give the most accurate answer, insh'Allah.I know that if you make mistakes in your salah or have doubts, you should make two prostrations again as correction. However, if you make long prostrations, sometimes you forget if you are on your first or second prostration. If this doubt occurs during sajdah e sahw should I make another sajdah e sawh until I have no more doubts. The alternative would be to ignore the doubts as is the case with a second doubt during wudu.My second question is in regards to saying "Salamu Alaiykum Warahmatulah" to each shoulder at the end of salah. What is the purpose of turning to both shoulders (other than this is the way that this has always been)? Who are we saying "Salamu Alaiykum Warahmatulah" to?My third question is... Sorry, I forgot, I'm sure you can see why I forget how many prostrations I've made in Sajdah e Sahw.May Allah reward you for your efforts, and grant us all soft hearts.
