Unlawful Means for Lawful Purposes
My husband claims he loves me and is not thinking of taking another wife "at the moment". He is happy to have me as his wife.He treats me well and I do not have complaints about him otherwise except that he goes out and make female friends and flirts with them. He also chats with women online.This hurts me immensly.He thinks its permissible because he is allowed to look for a second wife and if he met someone and liked, he would marry her.Is friendship/flirting/courtship outside marriage permissible for Muslim men because it may lead to a halal purpose i.e marriage?
