prophet’s companion

I have a small question. One of my friends was asking me if it is possible to draw the prophet's companions, such as Khaled ibn el waleed? Is there a ruling to prevent depicting any of the prophet's companions in the form of drawing?

Assalaam-u-alakaum, I would like to know if it is premissable for me to produce animations based on islamic history for example a companion of the prophet or an islamic figure who would be an inspiration to muslim youths. Please advise me
