we are a group of eldry women all have problem with over weight , suger celostrol and high blood presure and no way we are controling so we did a contest that we go on a diet and walk for two weeks and the one that loses the most pounds she wins a prise , and we col lected the amount of the prise from each other . Please tell me is this Haram and why and why not

A few years ago, I entered a lucky draw where it was required to place the label of a soft drink that was purchased in an enveloped and post it to the distributor of the soft drink. I submitted a few entries. I won the grand prize which was a car. I sold off the car and with the addition of some savings, I bought a house and rent it out and have been using the rental money for personal use. Is such lucky draws considered as gambling? If it is, what should we do now? Jazakum Allahu Khayran.

Some companies attach pictures to their goods in order to promote them. If consumers collect these pictures and send them to the company, they may win a prize from the company. Is it lawful for one to do so to win the prize?

Dear scholars, As-Salaam `Alaykum. I went into the store wanting to buy my favorite soft drink, which I purchased. After I finished my drink I was throwing the bottle away and noticed that on the bottom of the cap, it said "buy one drink, get one free" as a prize. I didn't realize that they were giving prizes for purchasing their products. Can I use the bottle cap and the prize on it or should I just through it away because it may be Haram because it is gambling or something to that effect, even though I was going to buy the drink anyway?
