Praiseworthy Shyness in Islam
Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. I have heard that bashfulness and shyness are wonderful qualities praised in the Qur’an and the Sunnah, but what about when someone is not shy, but bold and brave, such as when someone wants to socialize with friends of the same or opposite gender or speak out in public, etc.? Jazakum Allahu khayran.
