other prophets

Dear scholars, As-salamu `alaykum. Should we look only to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) and try to learn lessons from his life and obstacles and implement his actions, personality traits, thinking, and judgment into our lives? Or should we also look to the other prophets before him, like Ibrahim, Sulayman, Ya`qub, Yusuf, Dawud, Lut, and learn lessons from their lives as well? Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was Allah's most beloved creation. Do we really need to know anything about the others or care about them? Jazakum Allah khayran.
