Ruling on selling non-Halal foods and items
Asalamu alaikum. My question is related to the selling of non-halal foods in supermarkets and also selling of cigarettes. I am concerned about working in a supermarket type shop, as I know that those who deal with interest, on all its levels (ie bank workers) are held accountable and I am unsure whether the situation is the same in selling non-halal food and cigarettes which harm others. Thankyou and asalamu alaikum.
