As-salamu `alaykum. I have heard the hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) when he said that nations will haunt against us. Can we say that this thing is happening right now?
As-salamu `alaykum. Could you please shed some light on the concept of minorities with special reference to Muslims? How should minorities be treated? What are their rights according to Islam? Thanks.
Is it permissible to transfer the corpse of a Muslim buried in a Western country in order to be buried in a Muslim one?
At times of natural disasters such as earthquakes and due to the rising death toll, some Muslims maybe buried along with non-Muslims in one mass grave. What is the position of those Muslims who were buried in mass graves where perhaps there are non-Muslims along with them?
Dear scholars, as-Salamu `alaykum. I am a Muslim student and I would like your advice/opinion on careers that you believe are in demand and will be beneficial for the Muslim Ummah. I would also like to know the exact role of an Imam, and how they can earn a living to sustain themselves? Also, is it usual that a Muslim for example, would be an engineer as his primary job, and also give Islamic lectures and learn about Islam in his free time. Also, are all Islamic lecturers, Imams, etc., only studying Qur’an and Sunnah full time without any other job or career? Jazakum Allah khayran.
As-Salam `alaykum ! Dear scholars, what is your response to an accusation levied against Islam, branding it as a racial religion, as it says that Muslims should not be killed for murdering non-Muslims?
I work as an administrative assistant for a Jewish firm and my boss is a very honest and kind employer. When I need a few minutes off for my prayers or I want to go home early during Ramadan, he is very accommodating and understanding. Is it wrong to work for a Jew? What about the money earned?
Dear scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. Whenever the month of Ramadan comes near, Muslims get divided into two groups. The majority starts fasting and celebrates `Eid with their local community. This group follows a major local organization such as the Islamic Society of North America, which is a well-established organization in North America. But the other group, which is a minority, always creates a division and disunity within the community and follows Saudi Arabia (or its own mother country) in starting and ending their observation of the holy month. For the sake of the unity, don't you think the Muslim community should unite and start and end fasting on the same day? Which opinion do you strongly prefer: to stick with your local community or to follow another country that is far from you? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Dear scholars, as-salaam `alaykum. I am a Muslim physician living in a Western country. Would you please shed some light on the role of a Muslim doctor? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. What shall I do to become a more active Muslim? Jazakum Allah khayran.
