Muslim Martyrs

Is a person who is killed(in a suicide attack) while fighting dictatroship and fighting for democracy,a martyr in Islam ? For example Benazir Bhutto (former Prime minister of Pakistan. Is she a shaheeda? Please explain.

Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. What is the ruling of the Palestinian people who died under the debris of their houses during the Israeli bombardment? Are they considered martyrs? Do we perform ghusl for them and bury them in their clothes? Also, what is the ruling of the decayed or torn apart bodies if the washing is obligatory? Jazakum Allahu Khayran.
