Mosque and Surau: Any Difference?
I would like to know if it is halal for women during their menstrual period to sit in a surau (not a mosque) for a religious class? How do you differ between these two (mosque and surau)? Can I perform tahiyat al-masjid (prayer to greet the mosque) in a surau? How about major ritual impurity? Can I sit in a surau?
