Marriage ceremony

Is it permissible for Muslims to hold wedding ceremonies in Churches if they are going to marry Christian women?

Assalamu Alaikum. I have an intension to marry a girl after three months. Her mother passed away this month on 11/08/2009. Is there any prohibition in Islam to organize a marriage within a certain period after parent?s death?

Salam Waleikum...How a muslim wedding should be? This will help me as i am the next to get married in my family. I dont want to involve any kind of rituals that are followed in marriage which are unislamic.can pictures be taken in the marriage as i believe pictures which doesn't lead to Shirk, indecency are allowed and which are in the limit.Can we attend a Islamic marriage where all the rituals which are performed in that region are followed.Kindly correct me and reply me if any wrong in my understanding.
