Dear scholars, As-salamu `alaykum. My mother was ill and died a few days after `Eid Al-Fitr, so she could not fast. I would like to know how I can help her to be absolved from the obligation of fasting. Jazakum Allah khayran.
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. I lived a life away from Islam, so I did not fast for a number of years. Now that I am a practicing Muslim, am I obligated to make up all those days that I missed? Jazakum Allah khayran.
I decided, without knowing about the Days of Tashreeq, to complete the days of fasting I had missed in Ramadan (due to menses). Do I count the second and third days of Tashreeq that I started fasting on, or must I begin counting my days after Tashreeq?
i put to birth a month b4 ramadan, and during the fasting i was'nt able to fast cos it very stressful. instead i fed people. i want to understand, i am still going to fast it back? or not.
Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. If I have missed several years of fasting in Ramadan, do I have to fast that many to make up for missed days? Or would feeding/paying poor Muslims meals for every missed day be compensation? I skipped fasting Ramadan for 20 or 25 years. Jazakum Allahu khayran.
