Respected scholars, As-salamu `alaykum. In one masjid here, I saw people praying two nafl (optional) rak`ahs immediately after the Adhan of Maghrib, but before the fard salah (pres cribed prayer). Is this practice correct? Jazakum Allahu khayran.

Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. In my local mosque the Adhan and the Iqamah are done for Maghrib without any gap for optional Prayer. When I used to live with my family in Jeddah, they taught me certain things from a Hanafi School of thought; however, I used to perform the optional two rak`ahs of Prayers as per the local practices of Jeddah. From a fiqh point of view, can I still pray that optional Prayer in my local mosque? Or do I leave those two rak`ahs since they have to be performed between the Adhan and the Iqamah?
