life insurance

Alsalamu alaikum;I live in a country without social security; and would like to know about life insurance; specifically one which is fixed premium and payout, ie.  I pay a fixed amount per year and my family will receive an x amount upon my death, there's no reimbursement, payback or whatsoever;  since there's no interest; is this halal?Salamat
