As salaam o alaikum,I live in Canada and I want to gain knowledge about islam, the prophet, etc in detail, because I feel that the internet alone can not provide all the information. What can I do to get well-acquainted with islamic theology? And as for islamic knowledge, are the Qur'an and hadith the only sources of information for us to study islam?I also wanted to know what constitutes an islamic state and how it can operate in present times, because, for example, in all the different economies today, it is very difficult for them to develop without ribaa.My last question is: to gain Al-Firdaus, highest level of Jannah, does one have to be a scholar, or an imam working at a mosque, or to die while striving for Allah's cause (shaheed), etc? Or is any normal person capable of doing so?Jazakallah.
