Father-Daughter Relationship in Islam
Assalam AlaikumWhat does Islam say about the relationship between fathers and daughters? My dad is a very effectionate person but his excessive kissing and hugging makes me uncomfortable. He thinks its normal to tickle me or my sister?s backs or tummy or thighs from underneath our cloath. I have tried countless times to explain that I dislike it and that I don?t think it?s proper. He does not agree and continues to joke around in this manner with my little sister (who is almost 13) in this manner.I would also like to add that my father likes to wear boxer shorts at home which are rather tight and show the shape of his private parts. Is this acceptable?Please advise.Thanks.
