Stepping on the Ka`bah Picture on prayer mats
As Salaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi Wa barakatuh, It occured to me that most of the prayer mats we pray on has the picture of the kabaa on it. Would stepping/walking on the kabaa's picture mean disrespecting it? Also, if a mother and her son are praying in the same room individually, would they still have to arrange their positions so that the women is behind the man? Lastly, due to my university schedule, I have to combine the Dhuhr and Asr prayers on every second friday, because my lab is held through the entire time of Asr that day. I know that the practice of combining prayers must not become a habit, so is it okay that I continue to do this once every two weeks, or leave my class for a few minutes to pray Asr (the labs require every second that we have as they are very long with limited time)?
