Describing Jews As Sons of Pigs and Monkeys
Dear honorable scholars, my question is regarding the description I hear many muslims call people of the jewish faith, relating them to the people whom Allah (SWT) punished by rendering them pigs and monkeys in the past, by saying "the sons of pigs and monkeys" or the "the brothers of pigs and monkeys". What is the Islamic ruling on using these descriptions? Jazakum Allah Khairan.Would it be possible for the scholar answering this question to focus on the following points as they are my main concern with respect to the question I submitted: 1) These descriptions' effects on the da'wa of non muslims, especially jews, to Islam. Do they have harmful effects on the da'wa. 2) The Islamic teaching of not disrespecting Allah (SWT)'s creation. Is using these descriptions a sin because the person is calling a human (Allah SWT's greatest creation) a monkey or a pig? 3) The Islamic teaching of keeping good manners and not ridiculing others. Is teaching our children these descriptions bad because it promotes bad manners?
