Az-Zabih (the Sacrifice): Was it Isma`il or Is-haq?
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. Dear scholars, during the `Eid, I had an argument with a friend of mine, a Christian by the way, who said that Isaac (Is-haq), not Ishmael (Isma`il), was the one Abraham (Ibrahim) wanted to offer as sacrifice. Could you explain this? Jazakum Allah khayran.
