Is Mortgage from Islamic Banks Permissible?
Salam Alikum, I have already managed to payback in full the mortgage for the house I am living in with my family. I want now to buy another house for commercial purpose (rent), but I do not have the full amount and I know I am not allowed to take another mortgage. However,there are now islamic mortgages through Islamic bank and HSBC islamic Amanah mortgage in London. Am I allowed to get a second islamic mortgage from one of these islamic banks.Jazak Allah Khairthank you very muchessam
