Tankees in Reciting the Qur’an
Dear Schollars, As-salamu Alaikum! I have heard that in prayer (salat) while reciting a verse (surah) of Holy Quran we should recite in first ra´kah the lengthy verse than in the next one, so what is the rule? Also I heard that we cannot recite, in the second ra´kah, a verse that is the third next to the one we recited in the first ra´kah (e.g. if we have recited surah Al-Ikhlas in first, we can not recite surah An-Nas in the second), please clarify me?Should we recite the Holy Quran in prayers always in the order of the book (the order A - Z of the Surahs)? And if we forget to do that one or we do not do, what is the effect? My next question is, while living in a non-muslim country, if we have to dispose of any parts of Holy Quran or religious writings, that are not useful, for the fear that they are not disrespected being on the roads and under the feet of people, can we burn them when we cannot have access to the muslim cemetery to bury those or we don?t have any cemetery nearby? Jazakum Allah Khairan
