Respected scholars! Is a Christian woman who is married to a Muslim required to observe `Iddah after divorce or death of her Muslim husband?
Zinas salaamu alaikom i know a person who was getting divorced and had two weeks left unti l it was over but eneded up meeting another man and committed zina with him, after she was divorced she found out she was pregnant for the man she committed zina with, can she marry this man and what should she do to rectify this?
Dear Sheikh! Could you enlighten me on the `Iddah of a woman divorced by Khul`? How long should she confine herself to observing `Iddah? Jazakum Allah Khairan.
As-salamu `alaykum. A woman miscarried a fetus which was eight weeks. This happened following her husband's death. Is her waiting period over because of this miscarriage, or must she still have a waiting period of four months and ten days?
My parents were planning to make Hajj this year, but then my father suddenly died. My mother is in her `iddah (waiting period), but she would like to make Hajj. She says that she made the niyyah (intention) and if she does not go to Hajj this year, she does not know what will happen to her next year.
As-Salamu `alaykum! I have some urgent questions concerning divorce. I have been separated from my husband for 8 months. I asked for divorce and finally he has agreed to give me that. Do I have to wait for 3 months if I want to marry someone else? I have not been touched by him for the 8 months. Is the reason for the 3 months to find out if one is pregnant and it's obvious I am not pregnant. So please do I need to wait for 3 more months before I talk to someone else?
