The Coming of Ruh to House After One’s Death

As salamu alwaikum!I have 2 questions.First I just lost my only brother. He was younger then me. Now some people say that when some one dies their Ruh comes to the house till 40 days. Is their any truth to that in light of Quran & Hadith?Secondly, when i am leaving work in the evening, I can pray magrib 20 minutes early then the actual tme or when I reach home I can pray almost an hour delay then the actual time. Which is better in light of Quran and hadith?Thanks for our help.

Eating in the House of a Non-Muslim

Is it allowed in Islam to eat at a person’s house if that person is from a religion other than Islam? I am only talking about vegetarian food. And what if the non-vegetarian food is halal but the person in whose house it is served is not a Muslim?
