Raising Horses and Today’s Modern Weapons
We read a lot of Qur’anic verses, Prophetic hadiths, and Islamic narrations indicating the virtues of raising horses. Is there a divine reward for raising horses, and learning and teaching horseback riding nowadays? Is the reward the same as in the past, when the Prophet’s Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) and the following generation raised horses for jihad, especially if one raises them today with the intention of jihad?
