harm

i was reading the fatwas of eminent scholars on mastarbation and do's and dont's of sexual acts in islam. it was pointed out that semen can harm the body if not ejaculated peridically by lawful sex. my question is if semen is considered harmful to the body than how should a non-married person get rid of it when masturbation is considered unlawful? (the person cannot marry at this time.)
