gum

Can a person chew gum while uttering dhikr such as tasbih, tahmid, tahlil even if the chewing gum is small enough to not interfere with the uttering of the dhikr? Or should there be nothing inside the mouth when practising dhikr using the tongue?

Dear Scholor's thank you for your wonderful website.  I am a new Muslim and would like to know if during Ramadan you are permitted to have chewing gum while fasting.  I read in Al Siyam, "Fasting" that chewing gum would not break your fast, but everyone else said that it would.  Which is true?  Thank you for your help.
