According to the preponderant opinion of the scholars, may Allaah have mercy upon them, being just and trustworthy are not a condition for the validity of being a guardian; if the wali who is a brother or a father does not pray nor fast can he appoint some one else to conduct the marriage on his behalf.if the woman is a widow can she conduct the marriage by herself second question if the bridegroom divorces his wife but after that he realises that the marriage which he conducted is void. does divorce is counted

Assalamulaikum,When a man and woman intend to get married, is it mandatory to get the parents permission?Also, is it permissible for an imam while leading prayers, to have the quran open infront of him and read from it if he has not memorised the surah? Jazzakullahukhair.
