good name

Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. Is there a legal objection to carrying a compound name such as "Sara-Kareema" or "Fatima Bhurta", where a new Muslim could keep their original name, e.g., Bhurta while adding a new Islamic name? Jazakum Allah khayran.

Dear scholars, my question relates to changing name, I mean, is it necessary for newly converts to Islam to change their names or they can keep their Christian or any previous names?
