Muslims and Non-Muslims at Each Other’s Funerals
As-Salamu `alaykum. Is it permissible to allow non-Muslims to attend a funeral of a Muslim during burial and other procession? If yes, to what extent and under what conditions? For example, can the non-Muslims participate in the actual burying of the dead Muslim? Please cite evidences, incidents etc. Also, can a Muslim attend a funeral of a non-Muslim who is not related to him?
