What is the ruling concerning offering funeral prayer for our fellow Muslim brothers and sisters who fall martyrs in the Palestine?
Dear Sheikh, As-Salamu `alaykum. In our mosque we usually pray janazah (funeral prayer) inside the mosque. Recently, however, I attended a janazah for a sister, which was performed in the parking lot. I am puzzled. Is there any justification for this? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Dear scholars, As-Salaam `Alaykum. My father buried my eight-month-old sister without performing funeral prayer for her. Now, after many years, is it permissible to offer the funeral prayer for her while she is buried in the grave? Jazakum Allah khayran.
As-Salamu `Alaykum. What is the Islamic ruling concerning Muslim women praying Funeral Prayer?
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. While offering a funeral prayer behind an Imam, he finished the prayer by saying ‘as-Salamu 'alaykum’ after the third takbirah (i.e., saying ‘Allah Akbar’), and when he realized the mistake, he uttered the fourth and then said ‘as-Salamu 'alaykum’ again without offering a prostration for forgetfulness. Is this prayer correct and valid? Jazakum Allah khayran.
