Dear Scholars:as-salamu-?alaykum!thank you very much for the unwavering and continous reply to my querries. May Allah bless you all! We know that blood (dam) is prohibited or not allowable to eat as ordained by Allah in the Qur?an, 2:173 & 5:3. In our area, cultured fish inside the fishpond used for commercial purposes are being fed with processed blood (palletized blood) of cattle. Is it permissible to eat the fish in this case? Jazakum Allah khayran.

Dear Islamic Scholars:as-salamu alaikum! Our fishermen used to encounter that during their fishing only a portion of the fish body part is caught while the rest of the majority of the fish part slipped and cannot be located or found. It might be still alive if only the tail is cut. Is it allowed by Islam to eat the caught portion or part of that fish? Jazakum Allah khairan.

I know it may be a stupid question, but I wanted to know is OK to eat Beer battered fish since the Alcohol is actually cooked off of the food or is it still unlawful because it has Alcohol in it in the first place?
