Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. As a male i was wondering if it is halaal to get your eyebrows plucked from the middle as i heared this is haraam? If not can you specify reasons and punishments. Jazakum Allahu khayran.
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. I know making and shaping of eyebrows is considered as haram in Islam..But am I allowed to remove small hairs above my eyebrows?These hairs are light in colour and are just above the dark and actual shape of the eyebrow?Removing them will not make my eyebrows thin neither would it change the shape of the eyebrow?The reason I want to remove them is that they give a dirty and untidy look to the face.. Assalamu Alaikum. I would like to know is it Haram for a woman to pluck her eyebrows? Many Muslim women i know do it and many of them offered to pluck mine, but i havent as i heard it is Haram so i rather refrain from doing it just to be safe. What is your advice? Shukran
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. I know that plucking the eyebrows is haram. However, if my eyebrows are very thick and unwieldy, can I do light shaping to straighten them out? Jazakum Allah khayran.
