If there are poor people in my country who need money, can I give them the price of the sacrifice, or should I offer the sacrifice?

Dear scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. My family and I live in the United States. Is it possible to offer udhiyah (sacrificial animal) by means of the Internet through an authorized American company that distributes the meat to the poor Muslim countries? Jazakum Allah khayran.

Is it permissible to offer a sacrificial animal that has some defects in its body? What if I bought an animal that was good and free from defects and then the animal got some defect like having its leg broken or something like that. Is it still valid to use it?

As-salamu `alaykum. Many people in Saudi Arabia and outside Saudi Arabia fear that their sacrifice will not be accepted because they cut their hair and trimmed their nails on last Monday, not knowing it is the first day of Dhul-Hijjah because of the late announcement by Saudi officials. Is the sacrifice of a person who cut his hair and trimmed his nails after the beginning of Dhul-Hijjah valid under such circumstances? Jazakum Allahu khayran.
