Can one donate his land for building church or temple? He donates the land not because he approves what the non-muslims believe, but for religious system. What is Islamic ruling on this?

As Salam Alaikum Wa Rahmatu Allah Wa Barakatuh.Dear scholars,I have heard that when a baby is born, the Placenta needs to be taken away and buried, it can't even be disposed of by the hotpital. Is this true? Why? Or is this more of a custom rather than Sunna or Sharia?We have had two children already and in one of them we consented to donating the Placenta to research as requested by the hospital. Did I do the wrong thing? If so do I need to do anything to correct my mistake?May Allah reward your doing.Salams,ahmad.

As-Salamu `alaykum. I used to donate blood on a regular basis to a blood bank in New Zealand. A few months ago, some of my friends told me that it is not allowed in Islam to donate blood to a blood bank. Even though I am not satisfied with this answer I have stopped donating blood. Could you please clarify the Islamic ruling concerning this issue? Jazakum Allah Kairan.
