Dear Muslim Scholar, I had a question I was hoping you can help me with please. I was wondering if there were any specific kuranic verses, prayers to recite or perform in times of spiritual distress in order to obtain Allah's mercy? Many thanks for your help, Salam.

Dear Sheikh, As-Salamu `alaykum. Our Ummah is now under attack and we Muslims are suffering distress. Would you please provide us with some supplications to help us overcome these calamities? Jazakum Allah khayran.
