Dispensations based on non-Muslim doctor’s judgment
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. In the viewpoint of Islam, is it permissible for Muslims to depend on the opinion of a trustworthy non-Muslim doctor concerning performing Prayer while sitting, or not fasting becau se of being unable to perform the fast, or any other religious obligation, due to medical reasons?
