Destiny

Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. In your point of view, what is the influence of believing in the Hadiths reported with regard to the Unseen about the destiny of the Muslim nation on the Muslim's deeds? Many Muslims are discouraged from acting and playing a role to improve their nation's conditions on the pretext that what is destined for the nation would take place inevitably. They argue: What is the use of doing something to change the status quo, so long as what will happen to the Muslim nation was previously known (i.e., whether it would be victorious over its enemies or fall)? Jazakum Allah khayran.

Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. Some fellow Muslims speak of the will of Allah. When they do something wrong, they simply say, "it was Allah’s will." Don't they understand that Allah willed humans to have free will, giving humans reason and the ability to shape their own destiny?

As-Salaam Alaykum Waramatullah Wabarakatuh!Dear scholars, I want to ask about something troubling my mind. As ALLAH knows all our future and He knows which one of us is predestined for Hell and which one for Paradise, the question is, why did He create us in the first place, although whatever comes afterwards is already written and known?Secondly, In the Qur’an, there are statements like ALLAH YAHDI MAN YASHAA WA YODL MAN YASHAA. So how could we know that we are from those who ALLAH puts in the right path or not, and can we help those who are not in the right way of living and pray for them to be better or it is something already decided? Thank you.

Dear Sheikh, As-Salamu `alaykum. God mentioned that everything we do, happens or doesn’t happen He knows about it and it was supposed to happen or not happen. But He also gave us free will to do what we want to do and asked us to work hard. So how can we combine all these together? For example, when I choose a lady for marriage is that Destiny or is that based on my decision. Some scholars say its destiny that brought us together others say it was your choice. Or if I decide to travel abroad for education or work is that destiny or my own free will. Some people claim that everything is destiny disregarding the fact that human beings make choices that gets them where they are. I just get confused really because what is the point of working hard if our destiny is already written and controls us. Jazakum Allah khayran.

Why does Allah seems to be Unjust (in least terms)?Assalam walekum, We all know that Allah knows everything. He even knows the Result of the judgment Day. Then why are we still giving the Test. i mean why didn't Allah  made the people who really deserve to go to jannah only and should have not made the people who go astray and deserve to go to Hell. I know even we have faith in Allah & his messenger equivalent to a grain of rice we deserve to go to jannah . I am not doubting God's judgment. But i am asking to you about the need to make the people who deserve to go to Hell. Allah even knew that the satan will also disobey Him one day. than why do God make such things knowingly  which disobey him & later Allah send them to Hell fire forever.

I want to ask about the dialogue that took place between Adam and Moses in which Moses blamed Adam for the predicament of Adam's progeny. Can you explain this matter to me? Does Allah predestine disobedience for man?

If it is established that Allah Almighty has predestined everything, what is the use of supplicating Him? In other words, would supplication change one's destiny; if not, why should one offer supplication then?
