Da'wah

As-salamu `alaykum. Please tell me if I can spend zakah money on da`wah activities here in the US. Thank you in advance.

Salam Aleikun,Please  we would like you to answer the following questions for us.1.  Can a woman give lecture in the mosque? 2. If yes which part of the mosque must she stay to deliver the lecture? 3. If No, kindly give us the verses in the Quaran and the section in the relevant Hadith.note.  We are  not saying  saying a woman should lead salat prayer.  These are lecture where she is well knwoledged in the topic and Men would gain a lot from.Jazakull Allah Kharain.

I was chatting with a man and it turned into love story , he wanted to study Islam but he promised that if he feel the religion in his heart he will convert, but he needs time to study, nearly 2 years as it is not an easy decision . I want to ask , how can i manage our relationship during that time and how can i help him without  comitting sins or i should connecting him

these days muslims express da wah through music is this permitted?

Asalamu alakum.I am asking in the context of India where Mushriks are majority.Why Scholars interprit Dawa as Fard Kifa?Verse is3:104which says a group among Muslims should do duty.But3:110says everyone has to do duty,means Fard Ain.Now 9:71 also says everyone including women not some.So3:104maybe interpreted wrong as Scholars can make mistake,as it becomes a contradiction when at 2 places says everyone has to do & one place say only some has to do.Some Scholars did interprit 3:104 as ?by you?instead of ?from amongst you?.Tafseers also say3:104 was revealed in Medina after establisment of Islamic state when duties where divided to groups to do Dawa,establish prayer,Zakat collection,civil,defence etc.Then there is no contradiction.Mecca is similair to India though not 100%.Who can deny that if any Sahaba did not do dawa to Mushriks?infact for 13 years?It was In Medina duty divided.Some say we need ilm & then nobody does dawa giving excuse we have no ilm.All we have to say is about Allah,Prophets/Quran &its Message /Hereafter.Did Siddique,Umar,Ali have deep ilm initially?Definitely we must learn (12:108) but also do Dawa as when we converse to Mushriks we are encouraged to learn more to make Islam superior.We recite Iklas everyday.Proclaim He Is one,He has no son. Muslim believes so.Mushriks are idol worshippers believing in more than one god and Christians believe Jesus(peace be on him)as son of God.We are surrounded by these Mushriks..Is this only 4 recitation or also 4 preaching?Islam is not mere theories.Many recite Surah Kahf on Friday but Verse 4 says Quran revealed to warn those whosay Allah has son.Who warns?but a few?Has time andCan learn about Fiqh matters&how to defeat all Muslim groups except his own which is only correct as in 30:32&create enemity,but no Dawa as it is Kifaya & support of Scholars so the excuse of no ilm & thus escapes responsibility.Enemies are smiling.Dear Scholars.Help.Was Salam.

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatu allahMy problem causes me my sisters and brothers who are not really religious (they are especially from Bosnia, Russia,etc.) - they know nearly nothing about their religion Islam. I mean I have many friends of them (especially girls from Bosnia - I sometimes tell them about Islam, talk with them about it,etc. --- all are good, but some of them try to become better and some of them are stubborn and want to stay so (so then I think my God, they are idiots. I hate them. They are not my friends,etc. and are very angry on them but days later this anger disappear and I talk with them again normal as friends))

A lot of people are justifying to one of our new Muslim sisters who just accepted Islam that she can talk to men, especially Muslim men, as long as the intention is ok and they talk about Islam. Here, I want you to furnish me with an answer about this issue. Is it allowed to make da`wah to women? What about using chatting programs for this?

Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum.there is a student da`wah program that takes place in downtown, where we distribute pamphlets and translations of the Qur'an to the masses of people. Is giving da`wah fard (obligatory) upon us; I do not have any proof or evidence on this. The only proof I have is that the Last Prophet has already come and there will be no more prophets. So it is upon the Ummah of the Last Prophet to invite people to the truth. Jazakum Allahu khayran.

Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. What is the ruling of giving da`wah to members of the opposite sex? Did our Prophet or his Companions ever give da`wah to women? Jazakum Allahu khayran.

Is it a condition in Islam for a da`i (the knowledgeable person who calls people to the right path) to be upright? In other words, is it permissible for da`is to call people to the right path if they are not practicing what they preach?

I had a discussion with my friends regarding the subject of Da`wah. Some said that it is obligatory (Fard, like praying five times a day) on every Muslim to give Da`wah; others said it is not (Fard, but it is recommended (Mustahabb). What is the correct Islamic position in the light of the Qur'an and Sunnah?

Scholar of Islam, As-Salamu `alaykum. I am a Muslim girl who wants to tell people around the world about Islam. I have many friends who are non-Muslims and I want to tell them about my beloved religion. But I do not know the right way or what shall I tell them firstly. I hope you help me. Thanks.

Some people say that working in form of an Islamic group is a religious obligation invoking the Islamic rule that reads: “What is needed for the fulfillment of an obligation is considered itself an obligation” They comment: “Since serving best the interest of Islam is a duty and cannot be done without the help of other people, so it is obligatory to carry out this cause of Da`wah while working in a group. Therefore, those persons who labandon their groups are considered sinful.” How does Islam views this saying?

What else should we do as Muslims after fulfilling the five pillars of Islam and treating our fellow humans justly and kindly? What is the importance of da`wah, and how should it be practiced nowadays? May Allah reward you.

I have encountered this question many times from non-Muslims: What will be the destiny of people who live in remote places like the Arctic Circle, and have never heard about Islam and die as a non-Muslims. Will they go to Hell?

As-salamu `alaykum. Propagating and spreading Islam may necessitate distributing or presenting copies of the Qur���an to unbelievers. Those unbelievers may read it and try to understand the message. Also, some of them may undermine the Qur’an. I have heard that there are some difficulties in allowing unbelievers to have the Qur’an, for fear that it would be damaged or abused in some way. Can you please tell me how this can be reconciled in order to help spread the Word of Allah? Thank you.

Is tabligh ok for doing daawah?
