Is Addressing a Person’s Father with the Arabic Word ‘Aba’ Permissible?
Assalamualaikum!!!! I am Shabana. I am married and have a son. I call my father ABBA and so my son also calls my father ( i.e his grandfather ) as ABBA. My Mother in law heard this and said that It is not allowed to call any person as father or address any one else other than his own father as Abba,Pappa, Abu, Baba, Daddy, Dad etc etc. She says that anyone who adresses like this is KAFIR and is doing Kufr. Please Clarify me on this and enlighten me with the right knowledge. Jazakallah
