Dear scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. What is the Islamic ruling concerning cheating in exams? I graduated from secondary school with excellent marks. However, I cheated in four exams; our teachers gave us the answer to some questions. Now I am in the third year of the faculty of pharmacy. Is it haram (prohibited) for me to study in this faculty? Should I leave it? Once I graduate from the faculty of pharmacy, would my salary be haram due to the fact that I did not deserve to join it in the first place? Jazakum Allah khayran.

What does Islam say about establishing a university or a faculty where Islamic Shari`ah and Christian Theology are taught in the same place? The purpose of this university is to alleviate the tension between Muslims and Christians and to bring them closer and allow an opportunity for mutual co-operation.
