aslam u alaikum,this is my first time i have visited this site & mashallah i found it very useful.i am 20 years old, last year i was engaged to someone of my parents choice.he is from pakistan and im from UK, so i didnt know him very well.  he is related to my freind who gave me his email address before i got engaged. wehave been chatting online since then, at first it was just general chatabout anything.  but since we've been engaged we talk about personal things, i.e. our marriage, future. we also have voice chats. i know islam forbidsany communication between a woman & a man unless he's a mahram. and as weare not married i wanted to know if what we are doing is halal or haram.jazakumullah khair
