I would like to ask regarding the procedures involved when a Muslim man marries a Catholic woman. Is there any special procedures that have to be followed, that is different from the nikah? What about the Catholic marriage procedures? Are there supposed to be two types of marriages for the couple? Also, what happens to the children should the couple decide to have them? Would they be allowed to decide their own religion? Basically I would just like to know what are the implications and possible problems in such a marriage.Thank you very much.
