Making a Card with Good Wishes About the `Eid
I'm a teacher in a small school for children with many difficulties. All the children are either Christian or no religion, except one who is a practising Muslim. I have written christmas cards (mixture of spiritual/folk festival/winter solstice themes) to each child and don't want to leave him out - what is appropriate? Should I give a card with a winter/snowy scene and an appropriate message about 'Eid or other seasonal wishes, or is it best to stick to 'Enjoy the break from school' ? He is an intelligent boy and I don't want to patronise or single him out; neither do I want to make him uncomfortable or give offence.
