Cleaning oneself after answering the call of nature & waswasah
As Salam Alaykum. I experience waswasah of shaytan, like doubts and suspicions in many aspects of my life and worship. I feel i need to seriously move out of this position because :it has decreased my iman enormously; made me do bad deeds and return to the bad deeds i used to do before i repented; made me depressed; made me slacken in my worship; made me anger my mum; wastes a lot of my time. The main concern is the issue of tahara or cleanliness. As i have a problem with my bladder, i need to frequently go to the toilet. But every time i go to the toilet i pass urine in the toilet, then move next door to the bathrromm and pour about 4 litres of water around my private area and down my urinary exit,to make sure the urine has gone. I also pour water from the top of my thighs alll the way to the feet to ensure i do not have najasa from the splashing. So in all i probaably use about 8 or9 litres of water each time ig ot the tiolet. when i do faeces then i use way more water. It is really annoying me, so please can you tell me the way the prophet used to clean hiumslef with water after he passed urine.And please advise me on this waswasa issue, .S if you can only answer one question, then please just answer the first one on urine) Thank you very much.
