Burying hair and nails in soil: necessary?

Someone told me that hair and nails that fall our or we cut should be burried in soil - not thrown in the garbage. Is this necessary?

Burying the Shaved Hair of a Child

Assalam'u'Alaikum Shaikh, My doubt is regarding the Aqeeqah. Is the action of burying in the ground(or flowing into a river/stream of water) the shaved hair of a child considered a bidah? Or is it a recommended action? Is there some hadith regarding this? JazakAllah'u'Khair

Asalamamualaikum Warakhmatullahi wabarakatuh, When muslim die, they should be buried or can they be put on fire? If they are buried, do people have have a grave with name, flower, and other ornaments such as picture etc?thanks for the reply.
