bullfighting

What is the point of view of Islam regarding torturing and killing animals in bullfighting and the like for public entertainment?Is it lawful to eat the meat of these animals after they have died from being hit by arrows, not by slaughtering? Or is it lawful to eat their meat after being slaughtered following being hit by arrows? I would also like to know the legal ruling concerning broadcasting the games of bullfighting and watching them.
