The First Masjid Built on Earth
Asalamualaykum,I have a few questions: 1. I was reading that the first Masjid built on earth was Masjid Al Aqsa. How is that possible if Umar(Radiallahu Anhu) built after the Prophet's (PBUH) death? How did Muhammad(PBUH) visit it if it wasn't there? Or was it meant as just the land? 2. I was reading a hadith in which it said that the earth was 6500(something like that) years old and that it would be Yawm Al Qiyamah when it reached 7000 years. How is that true when 1400 years have already past? 3. On many websites I find that Muslims are rejecting that Jesus(PBUH) is coming back near the Last Days. What is your response? Jazak Allahu Khairan Wa Asalamualaykum! 1. I visited www.mostmerciful.com denying that those authentic ahadith are truly authentic. They claim they're are fabrications! How does everyone know that Masjid Al Aqsa is where people claim it is today if Muhammad(PBUH) never told us where exactly it is? 2. I also read that authentic ahadith(such as the one saying the last days are when 7000 years pass) can be questioned whether they are fake or not. I sort of reject those too because only Allah knows when Yawm al Qiyamah is! 3. Websites like www.understanding-Islam.org say that because no ahadith in which Isa(PBUH) is coming back are found in other books like Malik Muwatta. PS. Could you sort of shorten my questions a little bit. I have a habit of writing long questions!
