birthmark

As-salamu `alaykum. My daughter was born with a birthmark close to her vagina, and another one on the side of her thigh. I was talking to my husband about the possibility of getting rid of these birthmarks through plastic surgery or laser, but he wanted to be sure whether or not it is haram (prohibited by Allah) to do so. You can realize how sensitive this place is.
